About this opportunity
The Spring Independent School District, Alief Independent School District, and Aldine Independent School District ("the Districts") in Texas are seeking proposals for Disparity Study Consulting Services. The Districts are partnering to conduct a single disparity study with three individual, District-specific sets of findings and recommendations. The selected vendor will be responsible for comprehensive disparity study consulting services, including project management, data collection, data analysis, reports, recommendations, and presentations. The study must be completed by August 1, 2024, and proposals are due by 12:00 pm CST on November 8, 2023. An award recommendation will be made at the Spring ISD Board of Trustees meeting on January 9, 2024. The initial contract term will be through August 1, 2024, with options to renew annually for up to two additional one-year terms. The total estimated value of the contract is greater than $50,000 annually, depending on the Districts' needs over the contract period. The Districts will evaluate proposals based on factors such as pricing, quality of goods/services, vendor reputation, and compliance with historically underutilized business requirements.
The Districts are recipients of a grant through the Harris County Disparity Study Fund Program, which is administered by the Harris County Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity. The Districts will each pay one-third of the cost of the disparity study, with any additional District-specific work required being the sole responsibility of that District. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and the Districts do not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors.
