About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of dial indicating equipment, designated as item number 2098351. This purchase order opportunity, posted on March 17, 2026, with a due date of April 17, 2026, requires vendors to access the Bonfire registration portal and initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to view complete project details, including quantities, specifications, and the bid table. The deliverables consist of dial indicating equipment that must be delivered according to specified timelines and rates, with delivery being material to the contract terms. Vendors must comply with DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions, provide commercial warranties on all supplies, certify compliance with Texas Comptroller requirements regarding foreign terrorist organization contracts, and affirm that they do not boycott Israel. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, calculated from whichever is later: 30 days from receipt of invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order.
The procurement does not specify particular set-aside designations or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility to disadvantaged enterprises or other special categories, suggesting this is an open procurement available to qualified vendors meeting standard requirements. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the posted opportunity materials; interested vendors must access the Bonfire portal to obtain this financial information. All quoted prices must include applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties, although DART itself is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue established in Dallas County. Vendors should note that failure to meet specified delivery schedules and rates may result in rejection and default termination of the order.
