About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring de-icer aerosol all-purpose products under contract number 07-E-1332 in an urgent procurement posted on January 27, 2026, with a due date of January 28, 2026. This procurement seeks vendors capable of supplying de-icer aerosol products with immediate availability and rapid delivery capabilities to meet time-sensitive operational needs. Vendors must submit bids that include detailed information regarding item availability, delivery timelines, and pricing to facilitate award decisions based on a combination of price and availability factors. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The evaluation criteria emphasize timely fulfillment as a critical factor, with delivery time and rate considered essential to the order; seller failure to meet specified delivery terms constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include provisions for inspection and acceptance at destination, commercial warranties, and equal opportunity requirements. Interested parties must register through the Bonfire system to access the detailed BidTable containing specific quantities, delivery schedules, and vendor response fields.
The procurement documentation does not identify specific set-asides or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility based on organizational designation or disadvantaged enterprise status; however, all vendors must comply with DART's equal opportunity requirements as outlined in the standard Terms and Conditions. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available procurement materials. The specific contract award value or budget range is not disclosed in the posted documentation; however, pricing must be submitted through the Bonfire registration system's BidTable. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices due 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, and must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with complete documentation including purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. All purchase orders are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County.
