DCPO-2011-P-0100

The District of Columbia has issued a procurement opportunity (DCPO-2011-P-0100) for reusable tote bags, with a solicitation posted on June 6, 2011, and a tight response deadline of June 8, 2011. This procurement appears to be a short-turnaround contract for the procurement of environmentally friendly or sustainable tote bags, likely for municipal use or distribution. The brief contract notice suggests the District is seeking a vendor capable of quickly supplying reusable bags, potentially for government departments, public initiatives, or community programs. While specific technical specifications are not detailed in the provided information, the procurement implies a need for high-quality, durable tote bags that meet municipal standards. The extremely compressed timeline between posting and response deadline indicates an urgent procurement need, which may require vendors to have immediate manufacturing or supply capabilities.

Given the limited information provided, no specific set-aside designations or vendor restrictions are explicitly stated. The contract opportunity does not specify minority business enterprise (MBE), women-owned business enterprise (WBE), or other disadvantaged business enterprise requirements. Similarly, no incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure details are available in the current contract notice. The potential award value and budget range are not disclosed in the provided documentation. Interested vendors would need to contact the District of Columbia's procurement office directly to obtain more comprehensive details about qualifications, specifications, and potential contract value. Potential bidders should be prepared to respond quickly, given the short window between the posting date and response deadline.
