About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a DC/DC Converter Power Supply Booster for propulsion systems under Texas procurement authority in Dallas County. This purchase order opportunity, posted on April 13, 2026, with a bid due date of April 20, 2026, requires vendors to supply DC/DC converter equipment and related power supply booster components designed for propulsion applications. Bidders must access the complete project details and bid specifications through the BONFIRE registration system by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process to view the in-browser BidTable, which contains specific requirements, quantities, vendor response fields, and project scope details. The procurement is governed by DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish binding obligations for all selected vendors. Prospective bidders should review all supporting documentation available in the repository to ensure full understanding of technical specifications, delivery requirements, and contractual obligations before submitting proposals.

All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and vendors must certify compliance with DART's standard procurement requirements, including equal opportunity provisions and confirmation of no boycott activities regarding Israel. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing purchase order number, item number, descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Delivery timelines are considered essential to the contract, and failure to meet specified delivery rates and schedules constitutes grounds for default termination by DART, making reliable logistics and performance history important qualification factors. The vendor must maintain commercial warranty standards ensuring merchantable quality and specification compliance throughout the delivery and acceptance process, with risk of loss remaining with the seller until final delivery and acceptance at destination. While the specific contract award value and budget range are not disclosed in the posted solicitation materials, interested vendors should obtain complete financial and technical specifications through the BONFIRE system portal before the April 20, 2026 deadline.
