About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART), serving Dallas County, Texas, is soliciting competitive bids for the purchase of a DC Substation overhead door under Work Order #3125116 (Contract ID 2098341). The procurement seeks to acquire a single overhead door unit for a DC substation facility, with specific minimum requirements detailed in the attached scope of work documentation. Bidders must register on the BONFIRE platform to access complete project details and the bid response table, which contains vendor response fields and additional specifications accessible through the "Prepare Your Submission" process. The proposal submission deadline is May 5, 2026, with posting occurring on April 28, 2026. Vendors must ensure all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the total price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Timely delivery is essential, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for order rejection and contract default termination.

The procurement documentation does not specify any set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other protected classifications; however, all vendors are subject to DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions available in the supporting documentation section. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the opportunity materials. All awarded vendors must comply with DART's Net 30 payment terms, requiring invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing specified line-item details including purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The specific contract award value or budget allocation is not disclosed in the available procurement information.
