About this opportunity
Texas A&M University's Division of Finance and Business Services is requesting proposals for measurement, provision, and installation of athletic dugout flooring at Davis Diamond, with proposals due September 17, 2026 and questions due September 4, 2026. A State of Texas Subcontracting Plan addressing opportunities for certified Veteran-Owned Businesses is mandatory; failure to submit an acceptable plan results in proposal rejection.
The scope encompasses flooring for first-base and third-base side field-facing floors, dugout restrooms, and back-of-house hallways to locker rooms, with a non-slip and waterproof sealed surface. The vendor must complete onsite measurement and site preparation within ten days of award and deliver project completion by November 27, 2026. Specified materials include NWR Stamina 10mm Speckled Mat in 190 Earth color, Dynaflex ultra black advanced exterior door and siding sealant (10.1 ounces), 7/16-inch stainless steel stair nosing with mortar infill, and four gallons of MAPEI ultra bond sport sealant. Demo and dumpster services are included in the cost.
The vendor must demonstrate prior experience in professional and collegiate venues and provide three references from comparable projects completed within the last five years, with higher education institution clients preferred. Insurance requirements include general liability ($1 million per occurrence), workers' compensation, automobile liability ($1 million combined single limit), and excess/umbrella liability ($5 million), with certificates of insurance required prior to work commencement.
Proposals must include clear, itemized pricing for all materials, fabrication, delivery, site preparation, installation, labor, equipment, permits, and other costs necessary for completion, with all pricing firm and fixed for the agreement duration. Award will be made to the single vendor providing the best value to Texas A&M University.
