About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is procuring a High Pressure Compressor Air Cylinder Assembly, part number 2CY3MD (reference 2098247), through this purchase order opportunity. The procurement is specific to Dallas County, Texas, and seeks qualified vendors capable of supplying this specialized mechanical component. Bidders must submit responses through the BONFIRE registration system by the deadline of March 18, 2026, with the posting date of March 11, 2026 providing a one-week response window. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and timely delivery is a critical requirement, as failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. The seller is required to warrant that supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, compliant with specifications, and covered by favorable commercial warranties. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment made 30 days from receipt of invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later. Vendors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including Texas terrorist organization and Israel boycott prohibitions, equal opportunity employment requirements, and conflict of interest certifications.

The procurement documentation does not specify set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises or restrictions on vendor classifications, suggesting this opportunity is open to all qualified suppliers. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials, nor is there reference to specific existing infrastructure or technology requiring integration beyond the standard DART purchase order framework governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. The contract documents do not disclose specific award values or budget ranges for this procurement. All vendors must acknowledge acceptance of DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish the exclusive binding agreement between parties, and any modifications or revisions require written authorization from the Contracting Officer. The seller assumes responsibility for all applicable taxes and duties, though DART is exempt from Texas sales and use taxes.
