About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas is soliciting bids for a cylinder head, low PSI inlet air compressor component through purchase order 2099036. The procurement opportunity was posted on May 6, 2026, with a bid due date of May 29, 2026. Vendors are required to submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system, accessing the in-browser BidTable for project details and vendor response fields. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery schedules are critical to this procurement, with the contract specifying that time and rate of deliveries are essential elements of the order, and failure to meet delivery specifications constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish performance standards, inspection requirements, and contractual obligations for all suppliers.
The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility to particular enterprise categories. The available information does not identify any incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure requiring integration with the procured component. All vendors responding to this solicitation must be prepared to accept DART's Net 30 payment terms, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment due 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from purchase order receipt, whichever is later. Vendors must also comply with certifications regarding foreign terrorist organization affiliations and Israel boycott commitments, as well as equal opportunity employment requirements. The specific award value or budget range for this cylinder head procurement is not disclosed in the available solicitation materials.
