The project is federally funded under the Transportation Alternatives Program (Federal Aid No. TA11301) and is subject to Build America, Buy America Act domestic content requirements for iron, steel, construction materials, and manufactured products.
The scope includes installation of curb ramps at various locations on continuous pedestrian facilities and traffic signal work across the three counties. Liquidated damages are assessed at $1,000 per calendar day for general contract non-completion, $1,000 per hour for traffic control device removal failures, and $250 per calendar day for individual curb ramp locations not completed within the seven-day requirement.
