About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for crimp contacts, size 16, silver plated for 12-14 gauge wire (item number 2097959). This is a purchase order procurement posted on February 9, 2026, with a bid due date of February 16, 2026. The specific quantities, delivery schedules, and award values are not disclosed in the available documentation and must be accessed through the BONFIRE registration system by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process to view the in-browser BidTable. Successful vendors must comply with FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the overall bid price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery performance is critical to this contract, with time and rate of deliveries deemed essential; failure to meet specified delivery requirements constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. All invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org within 30 days and must include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made on Net 30 terms, calculated as 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later.
While the available documentation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises or minority-owned businesses, all vendors must comply with equal opportunity provisions and provide certifications confirming they do not appear on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts and that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the procurement announcement. Vendors are required to provide commercial warranties ensuring supplies are of merchantable quality, suitable for intended use, and compliant with referenced specifications. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and DART retains the authority to terminate the order for default with liability for damages or for convenience with liability limited to payment for accepted deliveries prior to termination. The specific budget or award value for this procurement is not disclosed in the published documentation and should be verified through the BONFIRE system.
