About this opportunity
The State of Colorado, Department of Natural Resources, on behalf of Colorado Parks and Wildlife, is soliciting documented quotes for seasonal snow and ice removal services at the CPW Littleton Office Complex (13787 South Highway 85, Littleton, Colorado) under DQ1 PMAA 2027 0059, with quotes due September 4, 2026. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses registered with the U.S. Small Business Administration receive a 5% preference on their bid price, and resident bidder preference is available as defined under Colorado statutes.
The scope covers snow removal, ice removal, and ice melt application services during the snow season, typically October through April. Payment is made monthly based on the number of completed service visits as invoiced and approved by the Project Manager. The contract is guaranteed for one season through June 30, 2027, with CPW reserving the right to extend annually up to four additional times for a maximum total duration of five years, with final expiration on June 30, 2031. CPW will award to a single vendor and does not guarantee a minimum amount of work.
Vendors must maintain commercial general liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million each occurrence, workers' compensation insurance as required by state statute, and automobile liability insurance with minimum limits of $1 million each accident combined single limit. Prices established at award remain firm through June 30, 2027, with annual rate adjustments permitted beginning July 1, 2027, based on the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (Chained).
The pre-bid meeting was held August 25, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. MDT at the project site (registration deadline August 24, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. MDT). Written questions were due August 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. MDT, with answers posted August 28, 2026. The expected project start date is October 1, 2026. All quotes must be submitted via email or the Colorado Vendor Self Service system; hardcopy proposals will not be accepted.
