About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of steel couplings, specifically 3/4" black schedule 40, through a competitive bidding process. The procurement is located in Dallas County, Texas, with a bid posting date of December 15, 2025, and a response deadline of December 22, 2025. Potential vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bid specifications and submission requirements. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must adhere to DART's strict delivery terms, where time and delivery rate are considered essential elements of the contract. Vendors are required to submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The procurement process mandates compliance with DART's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which are available for review in the attached PDF document.

While the solicitation does not explicitly mention set-aside designations or specific enterprise restrictions, vendors must meet DART's standard commercial and legal requirements. The contract includes provisions for equal opportunity employment, certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations, and compliance with Texas state laws. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices payable 30 days from receipt or order completion. The contract allows for potential termination for default if vendors fail to meet specified delivery schedules or contractual provisions. Although specific award value or budget range is not detailed in the provided documentation, vendors should be prepared to provide competitive pricing for the specified steel couplings. The contract is governed by Texas law, with any potential legal disputes to be resolved in Dallas County jurisdiction.
