The procurement opportunity, identified as RFP 250098, focuses on comprehensive lawn maintenance and treatment services for county facilities. Interested vendors must submit one original and three copies of their bid by August 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM, to be opened and reviewed in the Finance Department Conference Room of the Jackson County Administrative Building. A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for August 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST in the Kevin C Poe Conference Room, with attendance considered critical unless specifically authorized otherwise by county officials. Potential bidders must submit any questions in writing via email to Kenneth Morris, Purchasing Manager, and Barry Vickery, Projects Manager, by Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Bid documents can be downloaded from the Jackson County website or www.vendorregistry.com, and the county reserves the right to reject any bids and award based on the highest and best interest of Jackson County.

While specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified landscaping and grounds maintenance service providers. No incumbent vendors are mentioned, and no specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available information. Vendors will be expected to demonstrate comprehensive capabilities in facility landscaping and grounds maintenance services across county facilities. The three-year contract duration suggests the county is seeking a stable, long-term service provider with proven expertise in maintaining government facility grounds. Interested vendors should carefully review the full RFP documentation and prepare comprehensive proposals that highlight their technical capabilities, service methodology, and ability to meet the county's specific maintenance requirements. Potential bidders can contact Kenneth Morris, Purchasing Manager, at 706-367-6309 for additional information or clarification regarding the solicitation.
