About this opportunity
The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting bids on disk storage for EMC NAS and OIT SQL environments under a cooperative purchasing vehicle, with bids due January 7, 2011.
The scope covers disk array enclosures, fiber channel disk drives (146GB and 300GB 15K/10K), HSSDC2 bus cables, power cords, and capacity upgrades distributed across four installations: CX4, EDOC, CMCC NSX, and EDOC NSX. Components are specified for both factory and field installation.
Bidders must submit sealed bids or electronic responses to the Division of Purchases, Room 119, State Office Building, Augusta, Maine, prior to the closing date and time, with late submissions automatically rejected. Unit prices must be inclusive of all discounts and delivery. The State reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and award to the lowest responsible bidder offering best value; in case of tie bids, preference goes to in-state bidders or those offering Maine-produced commodities and services. The State is exempt from Federal and Maine State Sales and Use Taxes; bidders must quote prices excluding these taxes. Contractors must furnish items exactly as specified on the Purchase Order. The State reserves the right to increase or decrease order quantities by up to 10 percent. Cash discounts under 20 days are not considered. Transportation charges, including freight, must be prepaid by the contractor unless otherwise specified. All deliveries must comply with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations; contractors must provide Material Safety Data Sheets for any hazardous chemicals as required by Maine Chemical Substance Identification Law.
