About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a contractor with overload assembly, AF52-TF65, posted on March 30, 2026, with a proposal due date of April 6, 2026. This procurement involves the supply of a specific mechanical component (contractor with overload assembly) that must meet exact specifications and technical requirements outlined in the solicitation. Bidders must access the complete project details and vendor response fields through the BONFIRE registration system's in-browser BidTable by selecting the "Prepare Your Submission" process. Key delivery requirements mandate that all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. All submissions must comply with DART's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, and vendors are responsible for performing inspections and tests to substantiate compliance with specifications, providing commercial warranties that cover merchantable quality, fitness for intended use, and compliance with product descriptions. The contract requires Net 30 payment terms, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing complete itemization of purchase order numbers, descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The solicitation does not indicate specific set-aside designations or restrictions based on disadvantaged enterprise status, though all vendors must meet standard compliance certifications including equal employment opportunity commitments, certification that they do not appear on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with Foreign Terrorist Organization contracts, and verification of non-boycott of Israel. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or specific technology integration requirements are identified in the available documentation. The procurement does not specify an award value or budget range in the posted information; however, interested bidders should consult the complete Terms and Conditions document and detailed project specifications accessible through the BONFIRE system to understand the full scope of supply requirements and associated costs. Disputes arising under the purchase order are subject to a graduated resolution process beginning with the Contracting Officer's written decision, with appeals available to the Authority within 30 days.
