About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a CONTACTOR, 2 POLE, 5 HP, 40 AMP electrical component, identified by solicitation number 2095816. This procurement opportunity was posted on November 7, 2025, with proposals due by November 12, 2025. The contract requires vendors to submit bids through the Bonfire registration platform, with specific attention to detailed vendor response fields and project specifications. Vendors must ensure their submissions reflect FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs integrated into the overall pricing. Critical delivery requirements mandate precise timing and rates, with DART reserving the right to reject and terminate the order if delivery specifications are not met. Potential vendors must carefully review the comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which outline rigorous submission requirements, including invoice documentation and detailed item descriptions. The solicitation emphasizes that time and delivery performance are essential elements of the contract.
The contract opportunity appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on organizational types, though vendors must comply with several legal and operational certifications. Vendors are required to provide merchantable quality supplies that meet specified product standards and offer favorable commercial warranties. Financial terms are standardized, with DART implementing Net 30 payment protocols, where invoices will be processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order. Vendors must also demonstrate compliance with equal opportunity employment practices, confirm they are not conducting business with foreign terrorist organizations, and certify they are not boycotting Israel. While no specific budget range is explicitly stated, the procurement appears focused on a specific electrical component with precise technical specifications. The contract will be governed by Texas state law, with any potential legal proceedings to be conducted in Dallas County, Texas, underscoring the local jurisdictional framework of this procurement opportunity.
