About this opportunity
The state and local contract opportunity is a procurement issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas, seeking to acquire a CONTACTOR, 2 POLE, 40 AMP for HVAC purposes, with a specific reference number 2095732. The solicitation requires potential vendors to register through the Bonfire platform to access detailed bidding information and project specifications. The procurement mandates that all submitted bids must include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall pricing. DART has established specific delivery expectations, emphasizing that time and delivery rates are critical, and failure to meet these requirements could result in rejection or contract termination. The bid submission deadline is October 15, 2025, with the opportunity initially posted on October 10, 2025. Vendors must adhere to DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which include detailed requirements for invoice submission, including providing triplicate invoices with comprehensive order details such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation, the procurement includes several important contractual provisions that vendors must acknowledge. DART's payment terms are strictly Net 30, meaning invoices will be processed 30 days from receipt of the invoice or order, whichever is later. The purchase order terms and conditions document highlights specific legal requirements, including provisions related to equal opportunity employment and certifications regarding business relationships. Notably, vendors must certify they do not conduct business with Foreign Terrorist Organizations and do not boycott Israel. Though no specific award value or budget range is specified in the available documentation, the procurement appears to be for a specific HVAC component with precise technical specifications. Potential vendors should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF, which provides comprehensive details about the contractual expectations and requirements for doing business with DART.
