The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) is soliciting sealed bids on three transportation construction projects with bids due June 25, 2026 at 10:30 a.m., contingent on passage of a state budget appropriation bill. The three projects are a pavement improvement project on Routes 5S and 30A in Montgomery County (Towns of Canajoharie, Florida, and Glenn; Village of Fultonville); a small culvert maintenance and renewal program across various locations in Niagara County for State Fiscal Year 26/27; and a bridge rehabilitation project on US Route 11 in Jefferson County (Town of Ellisburg). All three projects carry DBE participation goals of 0.00%. Bid deposits of 5% of the bid amount are required, with estimated deposits of approximately $200,000 for the pavement improvement project, $75,000 for the culvert program, and $200,000 for the bridge rehabilitation project. Bids must be accompanied by bid bonds, certified checks, or bank cashier's checks in the amount shown on the proposal title page, on form CONR 391. Electronic bids may be submitted via www.bidx.com and must include electronic bonds. Sealed bids will be received at NYSDOT's Office of Contract Management, 50 Wolf Road, 1st Floor, Suite 1CM, Albany, New York. Electronic documents will be available beginning May 27, 2026. All amendments are posted to www.dot.ny.gov/doing-business/opportunities/const-notices. Bidders should register on the Planholders List at that site to receive e-mail notification of amendments. The contractor is responsible for incorporating all amendments into its bid.
