Conservation/WFF/LE/D1 - Truck Body Repair

The state of Alabama, specifically Washington County, is seeking a local vendor to perform truck body repair services for a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 work truck with crew cab, identified by VIN 3GUYAEF6MG416441. This procurement opportunity is structured as an "all or none" contract, with a strict geographical requirement that the selected vendor must be located within 50 miles of Jasper, Alabama. The contract opportunity was posted on October 28, 2025, with proposals due by November 7, 2025. The primary objective is to restore or repair the truck body, with visual reference images provided as part of the solicitation documents. While specific evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed, the geographic proximity requirement suggests a preference for local, accessible service providers who can efficiently complete the repair work. The short timeframe between posting and proposal due date indicates an expedited procurement process.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises are mentioned in the provided documentation. The procurement appears to be a straightforward service contract without complex qualifications or enterprise-specific requirements. The contract appears to be a direct repair service with no indicated budget range or maximum value specified. Since the solicitation is for a specific vehicle repair within a county government context, it is likely a relatively low-value procurement focused on maintaining municipal fleet assets. The requirement for vendor location within 50 miles of Jasper suggests a localized approach to service procurement, potentially aimed at supporting regional businesses and ensuring rapid response times for vehicle maintenance.
