About this opportunity

The State of Alabama, through the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), is soliciting bids for a five-year fire sprinkler system inspection at the Alabama Marine Resources Claude Peteet Mariculture Center in Gulf Shores, Alabama. The contract covers approximately 23,000 square feet of the facility located in Baldwin County and the Gulfcrest CDP jurisdiction. The scope of work includes examining the system valve, riser, cross main, and branch line, as well as replacing any outdated water gauges. The inspection must be performed during normal business hours, Monday through Thursday, and the fire system will need to be taken out of service during the inspection but returned to service at the end of each shift. This is an all-or-none bid, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder.

The procurement is open to all qualified vendors, with no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. No incumbent vendors or existing contractors are identified, and no specific award value or budget range is provided. Vendors must comply with the DCNR Standard Terms and Conditions, as well as the Quick Quote Standard Boilerplate requirements from the State of Alabama Office of the Chief Procurement Officer.
