About this opportunity

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is soliciting bids for boat repair and maintenance services for Wildlife and Fisheries Law Enforcement operations in Randolph County, with proposals due October 2, 2026. This is an "All or None" opportunity with a mandatory local-vendor requirement — the vendor must be located in Randolph County due to boat location.

The scope requires the vendor to repair and service six specific boat models (Woolridge, Lowe, Grizzly, Duracraft, Vexus, and Gatortail) and be certified to service outboard motors from Yamaha and Mercury manufacturers. The vendor must meet all service requirements; partial capability does not satisfy the solicitation.

The initial contract term runs October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with DCNR intending to establish a multi-year agreement with annual renewal options. The cumulative contract value shall not exceed $25,000 over the entire contract term, including all potential renewal years, and the maximum contract term shall not exceed five years. The supplier must maintain consistency in pricing, products, services, specifications, and all contract deliverables throughout the entire contract term. The final multi-year contract term will be determined at the time of award based on awarded pricing and anticipated usage.
