About this opportunity
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division is soliciting bids for boat repair and maintenance services for its District 2 Law Enforcement office, with proposals due October 2, 2026. The vendor must be located in Etowah County — a mandatory local-vendor requirement tied to where the boats are stored.
The scope is repair and service of multiple boat types including Woolridge, Lowe, Grizzly, Duracraft, Vexus, and Gatortail models. The vendor must hold current certification to service outboard motors from both Yamaha and Mercury manufacturers. The contract is structured on an all-or-none basis, meaning the awardee will service all boats under the agreement or none.
The cumulative contract value may not exceed Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) across the entire term. The initial contract period runs October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. DCNR intends to establish a multi-year agreement with the maximum contract term to be determined at award based on awarded pricing and anticipated usage; the term may extend up to five years and/or until the $25,000 cap is reached, with annual renewal options available. The vendor must maintain consistency in pricing, products, services, specifications, and all contract deliverables throughout the entire contract period.
