About this opportunity
The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is soliciting boat repair services for Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries District I North Zone under a quick-quote mechanism, with responses due October 2, 2026. The vendor must be located within Morgan County, Alabama and certified to work on Mercury, Honda, Yamaha, and Suzuki marine engines — a hard capability filter.
The scope covers boat repairs as needed for the District I North Zone during the initial contract year of October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027. The cumulative contract value cannot exceed $25,000 across all contract years. DCNR intends to establish a multi-year agreement with a maximum term to be determined at award; the contract may be renewed annually but shall not exceed five years total duration.
Vendors must maintain consistency in pricing, products, services, specifications, and deliverables throughout the contract term. Price escalations during performance are capped at five percent of the annual contract cost and require written approval from both parties.
Responses must be submitted electronically through Alabama Buys prior to the October 2 deadline and must include compliance certifications addressing collusion, debarment status, E-Verify enrollment verification where applicable, Alabama sales tax registration, and immigration law compliance under the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act. The State reserves the right to conduct cost realism and price reasonableness analysis and may request written proof of qualifications including manufacturer's reseller authorization and certificates of insurance following bid opening.
