About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a Connector, KJ, 1/0 (Motor Leads) component, with solicitation number 2097648. This procurement involves the supply of specialized electrical connectors designed for motor lead applications, with specifications and technical requirements accessible through the BONFIRE registration system. Vendors must submit bids through the in-browser BidTable platform, which contains detailed project specifications and vendor response fields located by scrolling right within the submission window. All deliverables must comply with DART's comprehensive purchase order terms and conditions, meet merchantability standards, and be suitable for intended use with the most favorable commercial warranties offered to any customer. The submission deadline is January 30, 2026, with the opportunity posted on January 23, 2026, providing a one-week response window for interested vendors. Delivery timelines are critical to contract performance, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination by the Authority. All shipping must be provided under FOB Destination terms with freight costs included in the overall bid price, and vendors must adhere to DART's Net 30 payment terms with invoices submitted in triplicate to the designated email address.

The solicitation document does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information within the available materials. No award value or budget range has been disclosed in the opportunity posting. All vendors must certify non-association with foreign terrorist organizations and commitment not to boycott Israel as conditions of contract award. DART is exempt from Texas sales and use taxes, and any such taxes incorrectly included on invoices will be deducted from payment. The contract is governed by Texas law with exclusive venue in Dallas County, and all purchase orders are subject to DART's standard terms and conditions, including the Authority's right to make changes through written notice with equitable adjustments to price or delivery schedule when warranted.
