About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas is soliciting bids for a Connector, 2/0, KJ (Motor Leads) component, with procurement ID 2098697. This is a straightforward goods procurement for a specific electrical connector part required for motor lead applications. The solicitation was posted on April 13, 2026, with a bid due date of April 20, 2026, providing potential vendors with one week to prepare and submit their responses. All bids must be submitted through the BONFIRE registration system, where vendors will access the detailed specifications and BidTable via the "Prepare Your Submission" process. Vendors must ensure their quotations reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs fully included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The procurement emphasizes that timely delivery at the specified rate is essential, with seller failure to meet delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and potential default termination. All invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment to be made on a Net 30 basis from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date.
The solicitation documentation does not explicitly identify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences for specific organizational types within the available materials. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are listed in the provided procurement information. The specific award value or budget range for this connector procurement is not disclosed in the publicly available summary materials, though vendors should reference the complete purchase order terms and conditions document and the in-browser BidTable for detailed specifications and pricing guidance. All vendors must comply with DART's standard requirements, including providing commercial warranties guaranteeing merchantable quality, certifications regarding foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts, equal employment opportunity commitments, and representations that no public officials or board members have pecuniary interests in the contract. Any disputes arising from this procurement shall be resolved through a tiered process beginning with the Contracting Officer's written decision, with venue for legal action established in Dallas County, Texas.
