The procurement covers comprehensive concession stand operations for scheduled spring (February-Memorial Day), summer (June-mid-July), and fall (mid-July-mid-November) events, including baseball, lacrosse, and football competitions. The successful contractor will be responsible for all aspects of concession management, including food and beverage sales, staffing, pricing, cleaning, and compliance with health regulations. The initial contract term is one year, effective through September 30, 2026, with the option of four additional one-year renewals extending potentially to September 30, 2030. Proposals are due by 2:00 PM EST on August 26, 2025, and must be submitted electronically through the city's BidNet procurement portal. Key requirements include maintaining appropriate licenses, conducting criminal background checks on employees, and adhering to the city's food and beverage guidelines. The contractor will be required to pay the city a commission based on gross revenues and will have exclusive rights to sell food and beverages during scheduled park activities, though the city reserves the right to bring in additional vendors for special events. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the contractor will be responsible for generating revenue through concession sales while meeting the city's operational requirements. The city maintains the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities, with the ultimate goal of selecting a vendor that best serves the interests of the City of Milton.
