About this opportunity
Palm Beach County's Board of County Commissioners, through its Purchasing Department, issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase and delivery of a compact utility loader with multiple attachments for use by Palm Beach County Parks & Recreation. The County seeks to procure one Toro Dingo TX 427 Wide Track Compact Utility Loader or equivalent, accompanied by nine compatible attachments including a TX Platform, full flight auger bits, backhoe with 13-inch bucket, backhoe fit-up kit, trench filler, 36-inch adjustable forks, blade crate, and plow side kit. All equipment must be new, of current manufacture at the time of bid submission, and delivered with factory warranties and shop repair manuals. Pricing must be submitted as single, fixed unit prices for each item, with prices remaining firm for ninety days from the opening date to facilitate evaluation and award. Responses are due by December 29, 2020, at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time, and must be submitted via fax or email to Senior Buyer Sandy Shea. The F.O.B. point is destination, with the successful bidder retaining title and all transportation responsibility and risk.
Small, minority, and women-owned business enterprises (S/M/WBE) certified with Palm Beach County may receive preference if their bids fall within ten percent of the lowest responsive, responsible bid. Local vendors with a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County or the Glades are eligible for a five percent preference consideration. Vendor registration in the County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system is mandatory, and all subcontractors must also be registered prior to contract finalization. The County is exempt from federal and state taxes and will remit payment by purchase order following receipt, acceptance, and proper invoicing of goods. The County reserves the right to purchase additional quantities within twelve months of award at the prices offered in the initial bid. No specific budget range or award value is stated in the solicitation documents; however, interested vendors should note that this represents a capital equipment procurement for Parks & Recreation operations.
