Kenton County Airport Board is requesting proposals for a Commercial Vehicle Management Software System under RFP #26-041-RFP, with proposals due July 2, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. and questions due June 22, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. The scope encompasses design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and upgrade of a complete CVMS system. The contractor must supply all hardware, equipment, wiring, cabling, connectivity, interfaces, software, services, labor, materials, tools, training, manuals, drawings, and consulting services necessary for a first-class deployment at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). The contractor must develop an implementation schedule and system acceptance test document in collaboration with KCAB and deliver a system that passes acceptance testing at no additional cost to KCAB if corrections are required. Upon acceptance, KCAB receives all right, title, and interest in hardware and equipment; the contractor grants KCAB a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the software. The contract term is September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2029, with KCAB retaining the discretionary right to renew for two additional one-year periods, either executed individually or combined as a two-year term. Payment is due in equal quarterly installments based on an annual fee schedule, with invoices due within 30 days of receipt. The contractor warrants the system for five years following acceptance and must provide all maintenance services during the warranty period at no additional charge. Daily data backups must conform to U.S. Department of Defense standards. Insurance requirements include professional liability of at least $1 million; commercial general liability of at least $2 million (or $10 million if working on aircraft ramps, taxiways, or runways); automobile liability of at least $2 million; and Kentucky workers' compensation insurance. The contractor must comply with all federal and state civil rights, fair labor standards, and occupational safety and health regulations.
