About this opportunity
The State of Georgia Department of Human Services issued a Request for Information (RFI) on May 20, 2022, with a deadline of July 7, 2022, seeking an entity to manage and operate a 26-bed Commercial Sexual Exploitation Recovery Center (CSERC) facility located in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The facility is dedicated to the rehabilitation and accommodation of child, youth, and adult victims of sex trafficking and will be available for lease at a nominal rate beginning in Summer 2022. Respondents must demonstrate their capacity to address identified needs either through direct provision or via qualified subcontractors and may recommend additional programs and services that support the facility's rehabilitation and accommodation objectives. The procurement requires full compliance with applicable federal and state constitutional requirements and laws. Entities interested in this opportunity were required to submit responses by July 7, 2022, with questions and responses documented as of July 1, 2022, as noted in the procurement schedule.
The RFI documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendors, or specific budget allocations for this procurement opportunity. No existing technology infrastructure requiring integration or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The facility itself represents a significant piece of existing infrastructure being provided by the State of Georgia, as the 26-bed building is currently under construction and will be made available for lease to the selected operator. Prospective vendors should note that the nominal lease rate reduces the financial burden of facility operations, though specific award values or annual contract amounts are not disclosed in this RFI summary.
