About this opportunity
The Colorado Department of Corrections is soliciting competitive quotes for the purchase and installation of two Convotherm Model No. C4 ET 6.20GB Combi Oven/Steamers at the Limon Correctional Facility in Garfield County. Each unit must be natural gas-operated with steam generator capability, accommodate 7 full-size sheet pans or 14 hotel pans, feature a 9-inch easyTouch control panel with 20 cooking stages and 399 recipes, and include four cooking modes: hot air, steam, combi-steam, and retherm. Optional equipment includes a Claris Water Treatment System and a stacking kit on 6-inch legs. All quoted prices must include inside delivery, professional installation by a qualified technician, connection to utilities, service startup checks per manufacturer recommendations, and all freight costs under FOB-Destination terms. A mandatory site visit is required on Friday, October 14, 2016, at 10:00 AM MT for facility clearance prior to bid submission. The bid submission deadline is October 19, 2016, at 2:00 PM MT, with submissions accepted via fax or email to the designated purchasing agent, Stephanie Diggs. Award will be made to the bidder deemed most advantageous to the State, considering factors including cost, projected delivery dates, quality and safety considerations, lifecycle costs such as energy usage and maintenance, bidder qualifications and experience, certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business status, and past performance.
Prospective bidders must register on the Colorado Vendor Self Service website prior to submitting responses, though no specific set-aside designations or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility are stated. However, preference consideration will be given to certified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business entities. Prior to contract award, the successful bidder must provide proof of adequate insurance coverage, including General Liability coverage of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and Workers Compensation coverage as required by law. Payment terms are Net-45 days after receipt of goods and invoice unless otherwise specified. The Department reserves the right to cancel any order if delivery is not made by the date stated in the bidder's quote response. No incumbent vendor, budget range, or specific award value is listed in the solicitation documents.
