About this opportunity
Broward College is soliciting a Request for Letter of Interest (RLI-2027-008-OA) from a single qualified firm to provide presidential search consulting services, with replies due October 22, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. ET, a deadline that has passed as of today. No set-asides are indicated, but preference is given to firms with experience within Florida.
Scope covers candidate recruitment, screening, evaluation, interview facilitation, and transition support, with the specific deliverable being presentation of qualified candidates to the College no later than November 30, 2026. Respondents must have a minimum of three years of proven experience providing presidential search consulting of similar size and scope. Required submittals include a Dun & Bradstreet number as proof of financial capacity, five client references preferably from higher education institutions, Commercial General Liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, Professional Liability coverage of $5 million, and disclosure of conflicts of interest and litigation within the past five years. The College will not permit subcontracting.
Respondents propose pricing in a detailed fee structure under Tab 5, but the College reserves the right to negotiate, set, control, and adjust fees to reflect all costs and services in their entirety. Award will go to the most responsible and responsive respondent based on technical and fee factors, with lowest cost not determinative. Renewal options require mutual written agreement. Submissions are electronic through Euna OpenBids (DemandStar), with a 150 MB maximum per document. The College reserves the right to reject any or all responses, conduct site visits, and negotiate with one or more respondents. Listed jurisdictions are Broward County and Fruitville CDP, both in Florida.
