About this opportunity
The Florida Department of State, Division of Library Information Services (DLIS) is seeking to purchase a statewide subscription to the Collaborative Summer Library Program (CSLP) to provide public libraries with comprehensive materials for the 2022-2023 summer library program. The commodities include posters, bookmarks, vinyl barriers, stand-up displays, book lists, reading records, reading certificates, newspapers, and bags. The purchase order will be issued from the date of issuance to 6/30/2024. The DLIS is the sole requester, and the justification for single-source acquisition is that CSLP is a non-profit organization to which the Division subscribes on behalf of Florida public libraries, and CSLP provides an exclusive contract to produce the materials designed for its subscribers. Prospective vendors are requested to provide information regarding their ability to supply the commodities or contractual services described. If it is determined that the commodities or contractual services are available only from a single source, the agency shall provide notice of its intended decision to enter a single-source purchase contract.
This procurement is designated as a single-source purchase, and the current incumbent vendor is CSLP, a non-profit organization. The estimated dollar amount for the purchase is $140,000. The contract term is from the date of issuance to 6/30/2024. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, as this is a single-source procurement.
