About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a Coin Cup Assembly (Purchase Order 2097752) through a competitive procurement process. The opportunity, posted on January 29, 2026, has a proposal due date of February 5, 2026. Bidders must register on the BONFIRE platform to access complete project details and the bidding table. The procurement requires vendors to submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price. DART's payment terms are Net 30, with invoices required in triplicate and submitted to APInvoices@dart.org containing specific line-item information including purchase order number, item description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Timely delivery is essential to the contract, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules may result in rejection and default termination. All purchase orders are subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which are available for download in the supporting documentation section.
The procurement documents do not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences for particular organizational types. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The solicitation does not disclose a specific budget range or award value for the Coin Cup Assembly procurement. Vendors should note that DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and any such taxes included on invoices will be deducted from payment. Additional compliance requirements include equal employment opportunity commitments, conflict-of-interest certifications, and a prohibition against boycotts of Israel by the seller and affiliated companies. Interested vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to understand all contractual obligations, including warranty requirements, inspection and acceptance procedures, and termination provisions.
