About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a coil ignition component through a purchase order procurement process in Dallas County, Texas. Reference number 2097532 was posted on January 25, 2026, with a bid submission deadline of January 28, 2026. The procurement requires vendors to provide coil ignition parts with delivery to a specified destination location, where inspection and acceptance will occur. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Vendors are required to submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and must comply with DART's Net 30 payment terms, with payment processed 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later. Time and rate of delivery are essential requirements, and seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules may result in order rejection and default termination. All supplies must meet merchantable quality standards, comply with specifications, and be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties available to any customer.
The procurement is subject to DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions, which require sellers to comply with equal opportunity employment practices and provide certifications that neither the seller nor its affiliates boycott Israel and that the seller is not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts involving foreign terrorist organizations. The complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document is available in the supporting documentation section and governs all aspects of the procurement. No specific set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or budget ranges are identified in the available solicitation materials. Interested vendors must initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process through the BONFIRE registration system to access the complete project details and the in-browser BidTable, which contains vendor response fields and additional specifications. The agreement will be governed by Texas law with venue established in Dallas County.
