About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a Coil Ignition component manufactured by Cummins (part number 5626388, reference 2097921) for procurement within Dallas County, Texas. This is a goods procurement for a specific automotive/transit equipment part required to support DART's operations. The procurement requires that all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Sellers are responsible for all inspections and tests to substantiate conformance with specifications, and delivery timelines and rates are identified as essential to the order, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. The seller must provide commercial warranties covering merchantable quality, suitability for intended use, and compliance with product specifications that are at least as favorable as those offered to any other customer. The submission deadline for this opportunity is February 18, 2026, with the opportunity having been posted on February 13, 2026. Prospective bidders must initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process and access the in-browser BidTable through BONFIRE registration to view complete project details and submit their responses.

No specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or restrictions on organization types are detailed in the available procurement documentation. Vendors must meet standard compliance requirements including equal employment opportunity compliance, certification that they do not appear on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list, and verification that they do not boycott Israel. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing specified information including purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the available documentation; however, interested vendors should review the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section for comprehensive contractual requirements and any additional financial parameters.
