About this opportunity
This procurement opportunity from the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas seeks to procure HVAC evaporator coils specifically designed for Merak/Knorr systems only. The request was posted on March 5, 2026, with a submission deadline of March 13, 2026, providing vendors with an eight-day window to prepare and submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system. All bids must be submitted via the in-browser BidTable platform accessible through the "Prepare Your Submission" process, where vendors will also find detailed project specifications and response fields. Deliverables must include FOB Destination shipping with all freight costs included in the quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. Delivery time and rate are specified as essential contract elements, with vendor failure to meet delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, including Net 30 payment terms, equal opportunity provisions, certifications regarding foreign terrorist organization involvement and Israel boycott compliance, and commercial warranties guaranteeing merchantable quality and specification compliance. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination, and vendors are responsible for performing all inspections and tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
The procurement opportunity contains no disclosed set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to specific categories of disadvantaged or small enterprises, meaning all qualified vendors meeting the technical specifications may submit bids. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are identified in the available documentation. The specific award value or budget range for this purchase order has not been disclosed in the posted materials. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing the purchase order number, item number, descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and all pricing must include applicable federal, state, and local duties. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, Texas.
