About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for Closer, Door, Series #1601 (Solicitation #2097567). This procurement involves the acquisition of door closer hardware and related components for transit system infrastructure. The solicitation was posted on January 21, 2026, with a submission deadline of January 28, 2026. Vendors must access the detailed specifications and bid requirements through the BONFIRE registration system by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process, where an in-browser BidTable provides project details and vendor response fields. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Time and rate of delivery are essential contract elements, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules may result in order rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with complete documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment made within 30 days of invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later.

The procurement documents do not specify set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, minority-owned businesses, or other restricted vendor categories based on the available information. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure integration requirements are identified in the solicitation materials provided. The purchase order is subject to DART's standard Terms and Conditions, which include compliance with federal and state regulations, equal employment opportunity requirements, conflict of interest certifications, and certifications regarding foreign terrorist organization involvement and Israel boycott compliance. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties must be included in quoted prices; however, DART's tax-exempt status applies to state and local sales and use taxes. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement is not disclosed in the available solicitation materials.
