About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for clip, latch, and brake pad components under Purchase Order 2097726, posted January 27, 2026, with a proposal due date of February 13, 2026. The procurement is open to qualified vendors capable of supplying these transit-specific parts to support DART's operational and maintenance needs. Deliverables must meet merchantable quality standards and be suitable for their intended purpose, compliant with all referenced specifications, and backed by the most favorable commercial warranties available to any customer. Vendors must submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system, which requires completion of the "Prepare Your Submission" process to access the detailed BidTable containing specific project requirements and vendor response fields. All bids and quotes must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Time and rate of delivery are essential to this order, with failure to meet delivery specifications constituting grounds for order rejection and default termination. No evaluation criteria, specific item quantities, or award values are disclosed in the available documentation.

The procurement documentation does not specify any set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or preferences for particular organization types. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The supporting documentation references DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish universal contractual requirements applicable to all DART procurements, including compliance with equal opportunity employment regulations, Texas tax exemption requirements, and anti-boycott certification obligations. Payment terms are established at Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payment due 30 days from invoice receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative terms are negotiated in writing. No budget range or estimated award value has been disclosed for this procurement opportunity. Interested vendors should register immediately on the BONFIRE platform to access complete bid specifications and submission requirements prior to the February 13, 2026 deadline.
