About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of a specific mechanical part cleaner, specifically a concentrated TNT ZEP cleaner packaged in 5-gallon pails, referenced as bid 2096469. The procurement is exclusively for Dallas County, Texas, with a posted date of November 29, 2025, and a critical submission deadline of December 5, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and submit responses through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. Participation requires strict adherence to DART's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, with mandatory FOB Destination shipping terms that include freight costs in the overall pricing. Vendors must demonstrate capability to deliver the specified cleaning supplies with precise timing, as delivery performance is considered essential, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in contract rejection or termination. Comprehensive invoice documentation is required, including purchase order number, item specifics, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

No specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions were explicitly outlined in the procurement documentation. The contract appears open to standard commercial vendors capable of meeting DART's detailed specifications and performance requirements. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate format. While no specific budget range was provided, the procurement suggests a focused, potentially small-scale purchase of mechanical cleaning supplies. The procurement process emphasizes vendor reliability, precise delivery capabilities, and comprehensive documentation more than complex qualification criteria. Potential vendors should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to fully understand the contractual expectations and submission requirements for this cleaning supply procurement opportunity.
