About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a concentrated mechanical parts cleaner, specifically a TNT Zep 5-gallon pail, through a competitive bidding process. The solicitation, referenced as 2095523, was posted on September 13, 2025, with proposals due by September 18, 2025. Vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access full bid details and submit responses. The procurement is structured as a purchase order with specific terms and conditions, requiring vendors to provide pricing that includes freight costs with FOB Destination shipping terms. DART emphasizes strict delivery requirements, noting that failure to meet specified delivery times could result in order rejection or default termination. Potential bidders must adhere to detailed invoicing protocols, including submission of triplicate invoices to APInvoices@dart.org with comprehensive documentation such as purchase order numbers, item descriptions, quantities, and unit pricing.

The procurement appears to be open to all qualified vendors without explicit set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order. The purchase order includes comprehensive legal provisions covering equal opportunity employment, tax exemptions, and compliance requirements. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the solicitation suggests a standard procurement process for a specific cleaning supply product. Vendors must demonstrate compliance with DART's extensive purchase order terms and conditions, which include provisions for commercial warranties, dispute resolution, and adherence to Texas state law. The jurisdiction for this procurement is Dallas County, and all legal matters will be governed under local regulations. Potential bidders should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to ensure full understanding of the comprehensive contractual expectations and requirements.
