About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a CLAMP, TYPE CH-500KCM from MAC-Impulse, with reference number 2095417, through a competitive bidding process. Vendors must register on the Bonfire platform to access detailed bid information and submit responses through the in-browser BidTable. The procurement requires strict adherence to specific delivery terms, with time and rate of deliveries considered critical to the order's execution. Vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept alternative shipping arrangements. The solicitation requires detailed invoice submissions to APInvoices@dart.org, including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Key submission deadlines include a bid preparation start date of January 11, 2026, with final submissions due by January 15, 2026. Evaluation criteria appear to focus on compliance with technical specifications, delivery capabilities, and adherence to prescribed purchase order terms and conditions.
The procurement does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises based on the available information. The contract appears open to qualified vendors capable of meeting DART's technical and logistical requirements. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt or order completion. The Contracting Officer retains termination rights for default or non-performance, providing additional contractual safeguards. While specific award value or budget range is not disclosed, the procurement involves a specialized CLAMP component, suggesting potential for a moderate-value contract. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with venue established in Dallas County. Prospective bidders must thoroughly review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document, which provides comprehensive guidelines for participation, performance expectations, and contractual obligations.
