About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a constant torque hose clamp, 5/8" with a 1 1/16"-2" range (Item 2097626). This procurement represents a straightforward goods purchase with a posting date of January 22, 2026, and a submission deadline of January 29, 2026. Vendors must submit bids through the BONFIRE registration system and access the in-browser BidTable to view complete project details and respond to vendor requirements. Delivery terms are critical to this procurement, with time and rate of deliveries being essential contractual elements; seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination by DART. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and shall contain the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made under Net 30 terms, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date. The purchasing authority retains the right to make written changes to orders with equitable adjustments available to contract price or delivery schedules when changes cause cost or time increases; sellers must assert adjustment claims within 30 days of receiving change orders.
The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, or incumbent vendor information. All supplies must meet commercial warranty standards, requiring that goods be of merchantable quality and suitable for intended use while complying with all product descriptions and specifications. Vendors are required to certify compliance with foreign terrorist organization restrictions and Israel boycott requirements, and all pricing must include applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties, with DART claiming exemption from Texas sales and use taxes. The contract is governed by Texas law with venue established in Dallas County. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the available procurement documentation, and vendors should consult the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF in the Supporting Documentation section for additional contractual requirements and the full scope of DART's terms governing this procurement.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
