Award goes to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder on a total lump sum price covering all labor, equipment, containment, testing, waste disposal, insurance, and mobilization, demobilization, and remobilization. Partial bids are not accepted. Payment is made in full upon final acceptance, and workmanship and materials carry a one-year warranty from that date, with coating failures corrected within thirty days of written notice at no cost to the City.
Required insurance includes Workers' Compensation, Commercial General Liability of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 general aggregate, Automobile Liability of $1,000,000, and Contractor's Pollution Liability of $1,000,000 per claim including lead-related claims, with the City named as additional insured.
