About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a circuit breaker, 13.2 kV AC with a 125VDC tripping coil (Specification 2098201). This procurement is posted by Dallas County, Texas, with a deadline for bid submission of March 13, 2026. Prospective vendors must register on the BONFIRE platform to access complete project details and the bidding table. The primary deliverable is the specified circuit breaker equipment meeting the technical requirements outlined in the procurement documents. Key qualification requirements include compliance with DART's standard purchase order terms and conditions, ability to meet strict delivery schedules where time and rate of delivery are essential contract provisions, and submission of invoices in the required format to APInvoices@dart.org. Vendors must agree to FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The evaluation criteria emphasize reliability and adherence to delivery specifications, with seller failure to meet delivery requirements serving as grounds for rejection and default termination.
The procurement documentation does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions limiting eligibility to disadvantaged enterprises or particular business categories. However, all responding vendors must certify that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts and must verify that neither they nor their affiliates boycott Israel. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available procurement materials. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices payable 30 days from receipt of invoice or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later, unless alternative terms are negotiated in writing. The specific award value or budget range for this circuit breaker procurement is not disclosed in the posted opportunity documentation.
