About this opportunity

Palm Beach County is requesting quotations for central station monitoring, fire, security, and generator alarm services on a term contract basis under RFQ 26-0224-JW, with quotes due November 11, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. (Palm Beach County local time). A 5% local preference applies to responsive and responsible quoters with a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County; a 5% Glades local preference applies to businesses in the Glades area.

The scope encompasses ongoing central station monitoring and alarm services for county facilities. The contract is a term agreement with renewal options. Pricing must remain firm for ninety days from submission and throughout the initial and any subsequent contract terms.

All quoters must be registered as vendors in Palm Beach County's Vendor Self Service (VSS) system prior to award. Subcontractors, if utilized, must also be registered and included in subcontractor agreements. The solicitation carries mandatory Small Business Development (SBD) Program requirements: quoters using subcontractors must submit Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 documentation at proposal time, and Schedules 3, 3(a), and 4 during contract performance with each payment request. Quoters must provide a Drug-Free Workplace Certification and a Certification Regarding Debarment and Suspension.

Questions are due November 4, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. A non-mandatory pre-quote conference and non-mandatory site inspection are available under Terms and Conditions #18 and #19. Quotations may be submitted via mail, fax, or email to Jonathan Washington, Palm Beach County Procurement Department, at (561) 616-6823 or jwashington@pbc.gov. The County reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, waive non-substantive irregularities, and reject offers from vendors with prior performance failures or those not in a position to perform properly. Payment is made by the Finance Department after goods and services are received, accepted, and properly invoiced, with invoices due no later than the 15th of the following month.
