About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a Center Link Assembly (Tie Rod), Reference Number 2097094. This purchase order opportunity requires BONFIRE registration to access complete details and the bid table containing project specifications and vendor response fields. The procurement is open to qualified suppliers capable of delivering the specified component in compliance with DART's stringent requirements. Deliverables must meet merchantable quality standards and conform to product descriptions and specifications, backed by commercial warranties. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and time and rate of deliveries are emphasized as essential elements of the order, with seller failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. The response deadline for this procurement is March 16, 2026, with the opportunity posted on March 11, 2026. Vendors should note that DART will not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms, and all submissions must be completed through the in-browser BidTable platform accessible via the "Prepare Your Submission" process.
Payment for awarded vendors will be made on Net 30 terms, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and due 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later. The procurement terms and conditions document does not specify set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise restrictions; however, all vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment practices and provide certification that neither the seller nor its affiliates boycott Israel, as well as certification that the seller is not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts involving designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations. DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and any such taxes included on invoices will be deducted from payment. The specific award value or budget range is not disclosed in the available procurement documentation. This procurement is governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and vendors should consult the complete Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF available in the Supporting Documentation section for comprehensive contractual requirements and additional regulatory compliance obligations.
