About this opportunity

SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital is seeking hardware and software support and software licenses for the Censis Maestro inventory tracking system through a discretionary procurement process. The contract opportunity, identified by State Local Contract Opportunity ID 67727322d1fb29acb801b5a0, requires vendors to provide proof of certification/licensure/authorization from Censis Technologies, Inc. for parts and/or software service. Interested parties must contact the designated campus contact within 15 business days of the advertisement notice. The procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law 139-j and k, which strictly limits vendor communication to a specific individual to maintain procurement integrity. The contract will have a term of 9 months, with a due date of November 15, 2024, at 8:00 AM, and will cover all NYS counties, specifically targeting Stony Brook University Hospital. Vendors must be aware that non-compliance with contact requirements could result in no contract award or potential debarment from sales to NYS agencies.

The contract opportunity does not include any set-aside designations for service-disabled veteran-owned, minority-owned, women-owned, or disadvantaged businesses, with all sub-contracting goals set at 0%. No business entities have been identified as having been awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years. The procurement will cover hardware and software support for the Censis Maestro inventory tracking system, which suggests potential integration with existing hospital inventory management infrastructure. While specific budget ranges are not explicitly stated, the procurement is for comprehensive support and licensing of an inventory tracking system at a major state university hospital. The opportunity is open to vendors who can demonstrate direct certification and authorization from Censis Technologies, Inc., indicating a highly specialized procurement requiring specific vendor qualifications and technical expertise.
