About this opportunity
The City of Philadelphia is conducting a micro purchase solicitation (B2626698) for folding tables and chairs through the PHLContracts eProcurement platform. This micro purchase will be awarded as a whole or by individual line item, whichever serves the City's best interests, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Vendors must submit quotations on all specified items to be eligible for award consideration. The contract term is 365 days from the effective date, with automatic termination thereafter. All pricing must be quoted net and exclusive of taxes, delivered on an FOB Destination Point basis, and must not exceed $43,000 (adjusted annually by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers from January 1, 2020, rounded to the nearest $1,000). Quotations must be submitted electronically by March 31, 2026, through the PHLContracts platform by authorized company representatives with a duly completed and executed Consent and Authorization Agreement on file or attached to the submission. Quotes remain valid for 60 days from submission or throughout the contract term for Requirements Contracts. No products or services should be delivered or provided until the City issues formal notification and a purchase order.
The solicitation does not impose set-asides or restrictions limiting bidder eligibility based on business classification, though vendors may voluntarily participate in diversity tracking through the optional LGBTQ Applicant Opportunity Data Form, which collects demographic information regarding LGBTBE certification and other third-party certifications such as those from NGLCC, ESMDC, PAUCP, Disability:IN, or WBENC. No current contractors or incumbent vendors are identified in the solicitation materials. All vendors must maintain insurance coverage including workers' compensation at statutory limits, general liability insurance with a $500,000 per occurrence limit, and automobile liability insurance with a $300,000 per occurrence limit. Vendors are subject to Philadelphia's business income and receipts tax, net profits tax, and city wage tax requirements, and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, nondiscrimination provisions, and ethics requirements including gift prohibitions and conflict-of-interest disclosures. Payment is made via electronic deposit following City approval of delivered products and submission of invoices.
