About this opportunity

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for outplacement counseling and spousal career relocation services for university employees affected by reduction-in-force (RIF) and certain discontinuations. The services will be provided to both employees exempt from the State Human Resources Act (EHRA) and those subject to the Act (SHRA). UNC-Chapel Hill is looking to establish a contract with an effective date of July 1, 2024, with options for 2-5 or 5-10 year terms. Proposals are due by April 29, 2024 at 1:00 PM Eastern Daylight Savings Time. The RFP requests proposals with per employee, group, and maximum group pricing options. Vendors must demonstrate experience providing these services, financial stability, qualifications of personnel, and ability to meet performance guarantees. The University will evaluate proposals based on technical approach, qualifications, service delivery, performance guarantees, account management, references, and pricing to identify the best value to the University.

The RFP does not mention any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. It also does not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors, or any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The RFP does not provide any specific award values or budget ranges.
